Why choose a trailer over a driver
Some vehicles should not be driven. A newly restored classic, a warranty-sensitive supercar, a track car on slicks, an imported vehicle awaiting registration or a car sold on a mileage guarantee all benefit from travelling on a trailer. So does anything with a fault that makes a long motorway run risky.
Our trailer is loaded with soft straps over the wheels rather than chassis hooks, so the suspension is not compressed for hours and no load is placed on body panels or subframes.

How a trailer move works
We confirm ride height, weight, wheel condition and access at both addresses before the day. On arrival the driver photographs the vehicle, loads and secures it, and sends confirmation that it is under way. At delivery the car is unloaded, photographed again and handed over with the keys.
Pricing
Trailer moves are priced on road miles between the two postcodes plus any extras you select — non-running handling, prestige care, weekend or bank holiday movement, ferry crossings and congestion or ULEZ charges. The estimate itemises each line so you can see exactly what makes up the total.
Frequently asked questions
- Does trailer transport add mileage to my car?
- No. The vehicle travels on the trailer bed for the whole journey, so the odometer reading at delivery matches the reading at collection.
- Can you load a very low car?
- Yes. Our trailer uses a low loading angle and we carry ramp extensions for splitters and low front lips. Tell us the ride height when you book and we will plan the loading approach.
- What access do you need for a trailer?
- We need a straight run of roughly 20 metres and enough width to open the trailer ramps. If the street is tight or the vehicle is in an underground car park, we can meet at a nearby retail park or main road — we will agree that with you in advance.
- Is trailer transport more expensive than driven delivery?
- Usually yes, because a tow vehicle, trailer and loading time are involved. The estimate shows the difference clearly before you commit.
