Islands and ferry crossings
Northern Ireland, the Isle of Wight, the Isle of Man and the Scottish islands are all served with the ferry crossing quoted at cost plus a small admin charge. Because sailings are booked in advance, island moves need a little more notice than mainland routes — call us with the dates and we will check the timetable with you.
Access and city-centre deliveries
Tight terraced streets, multi-storey car parks and pedestrianised centres are not a problem for driven delivery. For trailer moves we need roughly 20 metres of straight access, so where that is not possible we agree a nearby meeting point in advance.
Frequently asked questions
- Do you cover the whole of the UK?
- We cover every mainland postcode in England, Scotland and Wales. Northern Ireland, the Isle of Wight, the Isle of Man and the Scottish islands are quoted with the ferry crossing included.
- Are long-distance moves more expensive per mile?
- No. Pricing is a flat rate per road mile with a minimum charge, so long routes are proportionally cheaper per mile than short local hops.
- Which routes do you run most often?
- The M6 and M62 corridors around the North West, the M1 between the Midlands and London, and cross-country runs between Scotland and the South East are our busiest weekly routes.
