Charges handled transparently
London is the only part of the UK where the route itself can add cost. The Ultra Low Emission Zone now covers all London boroughs, and the Congestion Charge applies in the central zone on charging days. We check whether your specific journey triggers either, route around them where it is sensible, and if a charge is genuinely unavoidable it appears as its own line in your estimate at cost plus admin — never rolled silently into the mileage.
Access in the capital
Red routes, permit-only bays, low-height car parks and single-lane residential streets mean a trailer often cannot get to the door. Most London jobs therefore move on trade plates. Where the vehicle must not be driven — a prestige car, a non-runner or a mileage-sensitive sale — we bring the trailer to an agreed point just outside the restricted area and shuttle from there.

We schedule London collections outside peak windows wherever possible. That keeps drivers off the worst of the traffic, avoids Congestion Charge hours on many jobs and means a more reliable arrival slot for whoever is receiving the vehicle.

- Do you charge for ULEZ and the Congestion Charge?
- Where a journey genuinely incurs the Congestion Charge or a ULEZ charge, it is passed on at cost plus a small admin fee and shown as its own line in the estimate. Compliant vehicles delivered outside charging hours attract nothing extra.
- Can a trailer reach a central London address?
- Often not. Narrow streets, red routes and parking restrictions make trailer loading impractical in much of zones 1 and 2, so we either deliver on trade plates or agree a meeting point on the North Circular or a nearby retail site.
- Can you deliver to a London airport or hotel?
- Yes. Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and Stansted handovers are common, as are hotel and workplace deliveries. We call the receiver ahead so the keys change hands without waiting time.
